Job Responsibilities: JOB SUMMARY: The Program Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing multiple related projects to ensure they are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with organizational objectives. This role serves as a key liaison between cross-functional teams, leadership, and the customer, ensuring strategic initiatives are executed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in either Business Administration, Engineering or equivalent degree
  • Minimum 5 years in the field of high-volume production
  • Understanding current and future OEM business strategies to secure new business
  • Experience in resource planning and reporting for engineering projects
  • Experience with costs forecasting and reporting for engineering projects
  • Working knowledge of purchasing, accounting methods, and cost estimating methods
  • Working knowledge of time resource planning programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Interpersonal skills - Communication both internally and with the customer
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Good organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Ownership for assigned programs, accountable to drive programs and cross functional teams utilizing internal business processes including the PEP process.
  • Ensure compliance with the 6 critical business protocols for program execution.
  • Outline timing, monitor and report (monthly) all customer strategy activities (internal and external) for obtaining new business with respect to: Customer cost targets Customer key value drivers Customer technical targets and desires Internal financial targets
  • Responsible for obtaining and presenting (weekly) metrics that are related to the specified strategies to the cross functional team.
  • Utilize Company and Customer Timing Plans, Time/Resource Activity Plans, Program Open Issues Lists and Meeting Reports to control the activities of all resources assigned to the Strategy.
  • Lead cross functional teams as necessary to achieve program deliverables as outlined by program timing, based on the internal and external program strategy.
  • Provide guidance, where necessary, to Management in all Strategy related decisions.
  • Establish and continuously improve customer relationships to gain a competitive advantage on current and future business opportunities.
