About The Position

This position is in support of the Program Management aspects on the Radar System Replacement (RSR) program and is accountable for growth and execution. This position will work with the lead Program Manager and will support responsibilities for the financial, schedule and technical performance of the RSR program, to include executing the current contract work and future awards. The position requires regular interface with our functional counterparts, across sites, such as Engineering, Finance, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality and requires regular interfacing with our internal customers within Collins as well as our external customers and vendors.

Requirements

  • University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Prior experience in Program Management.
  • Experience with business and project management tools and procedures.
  • Domain experience in Aviation and/or production.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the company’s immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
  • The company will not offer immigration sponsorship for this position.
  • The company will not seek an export authorization for this role.

  • Prior experience in Air Traffic Control radars.
  • Must be highly organized and be an effective leader, communicator, decision maker and able to inspire teams to meet production targets.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate program activities including interfacing with internal teams on technical performance, schedule adherence, and potential program challenges.
  • Assess program risk analysis.
  • Track program progress and ensure on-time completion of major production milestone activities.
  • Collaborate with a team across various disciplines who support a global production effort to make deployment of the radars successful.
  • Master knowledge of design, development, integration, and test processes for the program.
  • Execute strategic focus to meet delivery commitments, exceed customer satisfaction, and achieve growth plans.
  • Communicate program status, issues and resolution plans across all major stakeholders including Raytheon senior management, customers and major subcontractors.
  • Identify and address program challenges, developing solutions such as resource allocation or changes to contractual specifications.
  • Influence and negotiate elements with customers to achieve enterprise commitments while improving customer satisfaction.
  • Establish high-level customer relationships to foster long-term collaboration.
