As the Program Manager, Adult Day and Respite Services, you will oversee program supervisors, shape high-quality services, and ensure individuals with disabilities receive meaningful, person-centered support in community-based settings. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Human Services, Social Services Administration, Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least five years of supervisory or leadership experience in human services or a related field.
  • Experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
  • Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn DBHDS, DMAS, DSS, and Medicaid waiver regulations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to person-centered, trauma-informed, and inclusive practices.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with positive behavior support strategies.
  • Experience with adult day services, respite or community-based programming.
  • Background in program development, quality improvement, or operations management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direct supervision to program supervisors across Adult Day Support and Respite services.
  • Coach and develop leaders to ensure consistent, high-quality program delivery.
  • Oversee person-centered, community-integrated programming focused on skill-building and independence.
  • Ensure compliance with DBHDS, DMAS, DSS, Medicaid waiver requirements, and licensing standards.
  • Support strong program outcomes through quality assurance and continuous improvement.
  • Manage operational and budgetary responsibilities for assigned programs.
  • Build strong relationships with families, participants, and community partners.
  • Promote a culture of dignity, inclusion, accountability, and teamwork.
