The Northrop Grumman Threat and Advanced Simulations Development (TASD) Contract is seeking an Agile Business Owner to join our team of qualified and diverse leaders at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. TASD supports a wide range of Missile Defense Agency (MDA) directorates with multiple products & capabilities. The Business Owner role has primary business and technical responsibility for governance, compliance, and return on investment (ROI) for solutions and value delivery by the Agile Release Train (ART). This role may require travel of at least 10%.

10 Years with BS; 8 Years with Masters; 7 Years with PhD
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application

Responsibilities

Lead the ART by example – model Lean-Agile leadership behaviors and sponsor relentless improvement
Engage in Lean Portfolio Management – influence ART strategy and investment planning.
Provide relevant elements of the business context in the defined Program Increment (PI) planning agenda
Participate in key activities, including the presentation of vision, draft plan review, assigning business value to team PI objectives, and approving final plans
Monitor and watch for significant external commitments and dependencies, ensuring communication and status across TASD and external groups are accomplished
Actively circulate during increment planning and execution, communicating business priorities to the teams, and maintaining agreement and alignment among the stakeholders regarding the key objectives of the train
Participate and coordinate management reviews and problem-solving meetings to review and adjust scope, resolve problems and compromise as necessary
Oversee and manage Release Train Earned Value Management activities that include budget, funding, and Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) sized to budget and funding
Serve as Epic Owner to guide major enterprise initiatives
Collaborate and ensure customer mission vision (roadmaps) are understood and reflected in the TASD Portfolio Backlog
Actively address impediments, especially those that escalate beyond the authority of the key stakeholders on the release train
Understand and help ensure that business objectives are understood and agreed to by key stakeholders of the release train, including the Release Train Engineer (RTE), Product Manager,(PM), and Chief Engineer
Participate in Release Management, focusing on scope, quality, deployment options, release, and market considerations
