About The Position

The Program Management Specialist (Data, Evaluation & Operations) supports the Entrepreneurship Center’s data, reporting, and program operations. The position is responsible for designing and maintaining data collection processes; managing program, participant, and outcome data; supporting reporting systems; assisting with grant and funder reporting; and coordinating operational support for programs, events, and special initiatives. This role contributes to the Center’s ability to assess impact, improve services, ensure compliance with institutional requirements, and support effective use of grant and operating funds. This is an in-person position that requires evening and occasional weekend work for special events, workshops, competitions, and related programming.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business, public administration, higher education, social sciences, nonprofit management, data analytics, or a related field.
  • At least two years of professional experience in program administration, data management, operations, evaluation, project management, grant reporting, funder reporting, or budget support.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and maintain data collection and tracking processes for programs or services.
  • Ability to prepare reports, dashboards, summaries, and presentations for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Ability to support reporting systems and maintain accurate budget tracking processes.
  • Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to exercise discretion and sound judgment in handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Knowledge of or ability to learn institutional requirements related to FERPA, data privacy, records management, and reporting compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, founders, partners, and funders.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain data collection systems for Center programs, workshops, events, competitions, and participant engagement activities.
  • Develop and manage surveys, intake forms, tracking tools, reporting templates, and related documentation.
  • Establish and maintain procedures for data entry, validation, quality assurance, and record accuracy.
  • Monitor program metrics and prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and presentations for Center leadership, institutional stakeholders, partners, and funders.
  • Analyze quantitative and qualitative data to support program assessment, continuous improvement, and strategic planning.
  • Compile and organize participation, outcome, and impact data for grant and funder reporting.
  • Serve as the POC on collaborative projects and events with the Center for Data Analytics.
  • Maintain centralized records for participants, mentors, founders, partners, events, and program outcomes.
  • Support and maintain reporting systems used to track participation, outcomes, and institutional metrics.
  • Manage data and workflow processes across systems and platforms used by the Center.
  • Ensure compliance with institutional requirements related to data privacy, records management, and reporting standards.
  • Maintain awareness of and compliance with FERPA and other applicable requirements related to student and participant data.
  • Train staff, student workers, graduate assistants, and temporary staff on data collection procedures, system use, and reporting practices.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen data integrity and reporting efficiency.
  • Provide operational and project management support for Center programs and initiatives, including planning timelines, deliverables, logistics, and documentation.
  • Support implementation of workshops, competitions, cohort-based programs, mentor activities, and special events.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather materials, collect participation information, and support follow-up activities.
  • Prepare program materials, briefing documents, administrative records, and related operational documentation.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives that advance the mission and strategic priorities of the Entrepreneurship Center.
