About The Position

We’re ALSO, an electric mobility company originally conceived as a part of Rivian. ALSO is looking for a summer intern passionate about AI and eager to help us explore and integrate AI tools into our program management processes.

Requirements

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fields
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and hands-on prototyping abilities.
• Innovative — You love building what doesn’t yet exist.

• Detail-Oriented — You blend creativity with engineering precision.

Responsibilities

• Research and Discovery: Investigate a variety of AI tools and services that could enhance our product development and program management workflows.
• Presentations: Deliver at least four presentations over the summer to share your findings and recommend the most promising tools.
• Hands-On Implementation: Take the lead on integrating at least one AI tool into our existing processes, directly contributing to our operational efficiency.
• Ongoing Review and Feedback: Participate in monthly check-ins with the program management and engineering teams to refine strategies and explore further options.
• Education and Mentorship: Gain valuable mentorship from senior program managers who have hands-on experience in shipping products and guiding the product development lifecycle. This is a unique opportunity to learn directly from experts and grow your skills in a supportive environment.
