About The Position

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting a Program Management Analyst (Journeyman) to support the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. This program provides critical current and future capabilities in the form of total life cycle support management (cradle to grave) for the F/A-18A-D Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler weapons systems. The candidate will be supporting the Weapons Systems Integration’s Integrated Product Team. Location: This is on-site position in the Program Office spaces and not authorized for telework. A Top-Secret security clearance is required The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: Perform critical program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and provide recommendations to ensure program success. Provide program analysis support for all aspects of the program. Participate in and support assigned Program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Collect, complete, organize, and interpret technical and financial data related to aircraft acquisition and product programs. Track program/project status and maintain schedules. Apply relevant policies and procedures for financial planning. Conduct program management and business analysis tasks related to weapon systems acquisition and lifecycle management. Utilize knowledge of SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation relevant to PPBS, MIPRs, Work Requests, Requisitions, CDRLs, and DD Form 254 (DoD 5000 series).

Requirements

  • BS or BA degree in Business, Management, Technical, or Scientific discipline from an accredited college or university.
  • Allowable Substitution: AS or AA degree in Business, Management, Technical, or Scientific discipline and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience OR an additional six (6) years of recent and relevant experience.
  • At least four (4) years of recent and relevant experience in a program management, technical, or business analysis discipline.
  • Of the four years, at least two (2) years must include technical efforts supporting major weapon systems and components development.
  • Experience in processing program acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in program/project management support, earned value management, and scheduling.
  • Location: All billets will be On-Site, sitting in the Program Office spaces.
  • Clearance Required: Top Secret, potentially SCI. All positions will need SAP; Must be a US Citizen.
  • Travel: Minimal, perhaps once every 6 weeks.

Nice To Haves

  • F/A-18 platform and weapons experience is a bonus but not required.
