About The Position

Sabre Systems is currently recruiting a Senior Program Management Analyst to support the F/A-18 and EA-18G Program Office (PMA-265) at Patuxent River Naval Air Station in Lexington Park, MD. This program provides critical current and future capabilities in the form of total life cycle support management (cradle to grave) for the F/A-18A-D Hornet, F/A-18E/F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler weapons systems. The candidate will be supporting the Weapons Systems Integration’s Integrated Product Team. Location: This is on-site position in the Program Office spaces and not authorized for telework. A Top-Secret security clearance is required The selected candidate will be responsible for but not limited to: Analyzes program requirements, status, budget, and schedules. Performs program management, technical, or business case analyses. Participates as a member of and/or supports the specified Program and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs). Collects, completes, organizes, and interprets technical data and financial information relating to aircraft acquisition and product programs. Tracks program/project status and schedules. Apply policies and procedures for financial planning. Must perform program management, technical, or business analysis tasking related to weapon systems acquisition, and lifecycle management. Experience with SECNAV, OPNAV, and OSD policy and documentation related to PPBS, Military Interdepartmental Procurement Requests (MIPR), Work Requests, Requisitions, CDRLs, and DD Form 254 (as specified in the DoD 5000 series) is required. Previous NAVAIR Program Office experience working the SOWs, CDRLs, Financial Analysis

Requirements

  • Business, Management, Technical or Scientific MS or MA degree from an accredited college or university. ALLOWABLE SUBSTITUTION: Business, Management, Technical or Scientific BS or BA degree from an accredited college or university and an additional four (4) years of recent and relevant experience
  • At least ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience in a program management, technical or business analysis discipline related to weapon systems acquisition and life cycle management is required, with a minimum of six (6) years out of the previous ten (10) years of recent and relevant experience related to analysis and planning.
  • Must have experience processing program acquisition, funding, and contract documentation for military programs.
  • Demonstrated experience in program/project management support, earned value management, and scheduling is required.
  • Location: All billets will be On-Site, sitting in the Program Office spaces.
  • Clearance Required: Top Secret, potentially SCI. All positions will need SAP.

Nice To Haves

  • F/A-18 platform and weapons experience is a bonus but not required.
