About The Position

Millennium Space Systems, part of Boeing Defense, Space and Security, is a fast, agile small satellite company focused on national security space missions, including missile warning and Earth observation. The Program IT Manager leads a multidisciplinary team of Program IT Systems Engineers, System Administrators, and Network Engineers responsible for designing, operating, and securing mission-critical infrastructure across the program lifecycle. The manager drives technical strategy and execution to enable reliable, performant, compliant services; champions automation and DevSecOps practices; and partners with Cyber, Information Assurance, and Program Security stakeholders to achieve accreditation, audit, and operational-readiness milestones. The role is suited to a results-driven people manager who works collaboratively across teams and strengthens engineering quality, documentation, and service delivery standards. The position's internal job title is Information Technology Manager and is designated Level K. The selected candidate must satisfy the company's Conflict of Interest assessment process and meet U.S. export-control requirements. The position requires an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance; candidates must be U.S. citizens, willing to apply for and maintain a clearance, and able to obtain the required clearance. No employment visa sponsorship is available. The position is not contingent upon a program award and is not safety sensitive. A Boeing First-Line Leader Assessment is required during selection; failure to complete it removes the candidate from consideration.
