Under direct supervision, for a period not less than six months and not to exceed twelve months, receives on-the-job training and assists higher level Program Integrity Auditors (PIA)/ Bank Examiner's in performing financial and procedural audits of financial institution programs regulated by the Section. Completes increasingly difficult assignments to gain experience and develop working skills. Assists higher-level program integrity auditors in preparing documentation to gain knowledge on the concepts and procedures involved in conducting audits of integrity reviewing methodology used by the agency. Assists higher level examiners (or PIA) and communicates with financial institutions to gather and prepare drafts of audit report. Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
