About The Position

We are seeking a Program Financial Analyst to join our Program Finance department supporting our Electromagnetic Systems group. Requirements

  • In-depth experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques.
  • Experience with Estimate at Completion (EAC) processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; SAP knowledge is beneficial.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Six or more years of related experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills (V-lookups, Pivot tables).
  • Experience with Cost Plus Development, Firm Fixed Price (FFP), and Full Rate Production programs.
  • Strong experience in finance or accounting.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and planning/tracking procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a business partner to Program Management, aiding in achieving programmatic and financial targets.
  • Oversee program budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, including supporting program reviews and cost reduction efforts.
  • Assist Program Managers with identifying, managing, and mitigating cost and schedule risks.
  • Provide program planning support, including scheduling, performance monitoring, and resource planning.
  • Assist management in program setup and control, establishing and maintaining cost/schedule baselines.
  • Assist in the development of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and related dictionaries.
  • Provide task leaders and program managers with clear, timely, and accurate information for decision-making.
  • Work with Project Managers and technical personnel to ensure Earned Value Management (EVM) principles are applied.
  • Track subcontractor status, material receipts, and open commitments.
  • Assist in the development of new business proposals.
  • Monitor budget availability and authorization approvals.
  • Develop standard and ad hoc reports, identifying issues and developing solutions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
