About The Position

NFI North aims to make mental and behavioral health services accessible, creating 'A Place to Belong' for everyone. They provide mental health and behavioral support services to individuals facing life challenges, designing diverse and innovative programs that offer a high level of structure within communities of care. The organization's goal is to help people grow, have hope, thrive in their community, and feel a sense of belonging. NFI North Beacon House, a Residential Treatment Program for adolescents aged 13-20 located in Buxton, Maine, is currently seeking a Program Director. This program is characterized as high staff intensive and operates an on-site DOE licensed Special Purpose Private School. It serves up to eight children with significant mental health and behavioral issues. The ideal candidate for this role will collaborate as part of a team to deliver care and treatment interventions, facilitating the successful transition of youth back to their families or into their next placement.

Requirements

  • A master’s degree in social work or human services plus 3 years supervisory experience
  • OR a bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years supervisory experience

Responsibilities

  • Oversite of all daily operations
  • Managing a staff team of approximately 25
  • Provide treatment and educational services for the youth served (through staff management)
  • Budget oversight
  • Payroll
  • Scheduling
  • On-call
  • Training oversight
  • Facilitation of management and staff meetings
