The Sierra Pre Trial Program provides outpatient competency restoration assessments, individual and group clinical services for adult, justice-involved males with a primary mental health diagnosis in a community-based, congregate living setting. Residents typically stay for 3 to 6 months, receiving psychoeducational and skill-building services to support their reentry into the community after incarceration. The program's goal is to reduce recidivism by fostering positive behavioral change and prosocial community connectivity, and it also offers referrals to employment, housing, and educational services. The Program Director will provide direct clinical and task supervision for the Clinical Manager, Clinician, and direct care staff. This role focuses on program operations and development, requiring collaborative work with funders, referring agents, medical, and clinical providers to establish comprehensive services aimed at reducing recidivism among the justice-involved population. The position includes on-call responsibilities on a rotating basis. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, clear and effective communication abilities, be highly motivated, organized, and committed to maintaining a trauma-informed environment. Experience supporting individuals with mental illness is required, and experience in a residential/congregate care setting is strongly preferred.
