This position will lead Tetra Tech’s onsite program team supporting a major design and construction program and will serve as the senior day-to-day interface with Government leadership and mission stakeholders. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management, business, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of progressively responsible experience delivering complex design, construction, infrastructure, or capital programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing large, multi-project programs.
  • Experience with collaborative design-build, progressive design-build, design-build, or comparable integrated delivery methods.
  • Strong executive communication, stakeholder facilitation, decision-making, issue resolution, and program governance skills.
  • Must be a U.S Citizen
  • At least one year of prior experience in consulting and/or Department of Defense contracting.
  • A valid driver's license and clean driving record is required for this position

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting the U.S. Air Force, Department of Defense, MILCON, aviation, secure facilities, mission-critical facilities, or other complex Government programs.
  • Project Management Professional certification, Certified Construction Manager credential, Professional Engineer license, Registered Architect license, or comparable professional credential.
  • Experience with PMIS platforms and integrated cost, schedule, risk, change, quality, and performance controls.
  • Experience supporting commissioning, secure-space accreditation, facility turnover, or complex program closeout.
  • Experience developing and managing program staffing plans that combine onsite resources with enterprise or technical reach-back support.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Tetra Tech’s onsite program team and serve as the senior day-to-day interface with Government leadership, mission stakeholders, design-build teams, and other program participants.
  • Establish and manage program governance, including the Program Management Plan, decision rights, recurring working groups, executive reviews, issue escalation, and action tracking.
  • Direct integrated program controls for cost, schedule, risk, change, quality, and performance across multiple simultaneous facility and infrastructure projects.
  • Oversee the development and operation of the Program Management Information System and ensure timely, accurate, and decision-ready program information.
  • Coordinate acquisition, planning, design, early construction, construction oversight, commissioning, secure-space accreditation support, turnover, and closeout activities across the program lifecycle.
  • Build, phase, and manage the program staffing model, leveraging onsite personnel and enterprise reach-back expertise as program needs evolve.
  • Facilitate executive-level communication, stakeholder alignment, issue resolution, and decision-making across the Government, design-build teams, and Tetra Tech.
  • Monitor program performance and ensure work remains aligned with mission requirements, approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, security, and contractual objectives.
