About The Position
MHM Services, a Centurion company, is proud to be the provider of mental health services to the California Department of State Hospitals Conditional Release Program (CONREP). The CONREP program is a statewide system that provides standardized intensive community outpatient mental health services for judicially committed individuals and mentally disordered offenders. We are currently seeking a full-time Forensic Program Director to join our team at the Arroyo Grande CONREP Program located in San Luis Obispo, California.
Requirements
- Masters level degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited educational institution required.
- Licensed in the state of California Required: LCSW, LMFT, LPCC
- Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with mental illnesses, substance abuse problem, and history of violent behavior.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
Nice To Haves
- Training with an emphasis in forensics preferred.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the CONREP forensic treatment program.
- Supervise the clinical staff.
- Provide administrative guidance of the services provided including case management, evaluations, assessments, treatment planning, crisis management, court report writing, and witness testimony.
