About The Position

Responsible for the management of all facets of supportive and affordable housing in the building for formerly homeless individuals and families some of whom are diagnosed with physical disabilities, substance abuse and/or mental health disorders. Provide overall oversight of Operations and Clinical staff. Develop, implement and evaluate program service delivery to meet clients’ needs. Coordinate day-to-day activities with an eye towards building a thriving community. Produce monthly and annual reports. Ensure compliance with contracts and regulations, including both supportive housing provisions and those related to low income tax credit requirements. Provide emergency first aid/CPR assistance when needed. Related duties as assigned. Reports to Vice President of Housing Services.

Requirements

  • BA required.
  • Two or more years in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Demonstrable written and oral communication.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • CPR training certification or willingness to take training class in CPR.

Nice To Haves

  • Masters degree preferred in one of the mental health disciplines, public administration, or related human services.
  • Significant experience working in a supportive housing setting with individuals with substance abuse and/or psychiatric disorders preferred.
  • Experience with harm reduction and motivational interviewing techniques preferred.
  • Low Income Tax Credit and Yardi experience preferred.
