Program Director
About The Position
The ideal candidate for the Program Director role is someone who is passionate about Jesus and children, capable of tackling new challenges, and skilled at creating solutions. Strengths in leadership, organization, and multitasking are essential. This position is seen as a meaningful opportunity to serve others and make a life-changing impact on students through the gospel. The role requires a gospel-centered and detail-oriented individual to lead the team in partnership with the local Leadership Board. The candidate should be a spiritually mature and active church participant with excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, adept at managing a broad range of administrative tasks. This is a part-time position, requiring 15-20 hours per week, though initial hours may exceed 20 and vary during summer months.
Requirements
- A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
- Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with the "What We Believe" section of the LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith
- Leadership experience in either a professional or volunteer capacity
- Experience with spreadsheets, virtual meeting platforms and Google Workspace
Responsibilities
- Recruit, train and manage a diverse team (Leadership)
- Arrange for and maintain program transportation and learning spaces (Location)
- Organize and plan operational procedures and details (Logistics)
- Build relational networks of financial support and manage program finances (Loot)
- Promote the program through communication and community engagement (Language)
