Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Clinical/Counseling, or Social Services related field required.
• Prior experience working with a psychiatric mental health population, preferably in an inpatient setting.
• Staff must demonstrate flexibility for reassignment to units providing care to varied populations including, adults and dually diagnosed patients in an inpatient and partial hospital setting.

Nice To Haves

• Licensure preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience in a hospital setting preferred.
• TN LCSW, LPC, LP preferred.
• Prefer knowledge of case management, discharge planning, group leadership skills, age specific growth and development, crisis and behavior management, family therapy theory and practice.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the delivery of quality mental health care services to patients within the context of structured clinical programs and an interdisciplinary treatment team.
• Oversees the administrative and clinical responsibilities of both inpatient and outpatient programs.
• Provides clinical social work services on a designated unit in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Lakeside Behavioral Health.
• Responsible for psychosocial assessments, individual, group and family therapy, participation in treatment team planning, processing commitments, and discharge planning/case management service, crisis intervention and liaison services with referral sources and other departments within the hospital.
