About The Position

This role is for a Program Director with expertise in SAP S/4HANA A&D, AFM Solution Architecture. The individual will be responsible for defining the enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA solution and integration strategy for A&D Aftermarket transformation. This includes establishing a target architecture blueprint, leading end-to-end solution design, and architecting integration across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems. The role also involves program delivery, governance, business engagement, value realization, and driving transformation and innovation from legacy landscapes to modern cloud-enabled SAP architectures. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in large-scale SAP S/4HANA transformation programs and experience leading multi-stream global delivery teams.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in SAP S/4HANA Solution Architecture and Integration Architecture with proven ability to design enterprise-wide transformation programs.
  • Extensive experience in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) Aftermarket domain, including spare parts management, MRO / CRO operations, and service logistics and aftermarket fulfillment.
  • Strong experience as both Solution Architect (end-to-end process and business architecture) and Integration Architect (system architecture and interface design).
  • End-to-end design across S/4HANA functional domains: OTC (Order-to-Cash), PTP (Procure-to-Pay), MRO / Service Management, Inventory, EWM, and Spare Parts Management.
  • Experience designing target operating models for A&D aftermarket ecosystems.
  • Ability to align business processes, data models, and system architecture.
  • Strong understanding of digital thread (Engineering → Supply Chain → Aftermarket), serialized inventory and traceability, and global distribution and service networks.
  • Expertise in SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI, API Management, Event Mesh).
  • Experience with SAP PI/PO and modernization to cloud-based integration.
  • Strong knowledge of API-led architecture, event-driven architecture, and microservices-based integration.
  • Hands-on expertise in REST / OData / SOAP APIs, IDOC / ALE / EDI integrations, and Middleware platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.).
  • Proven experience integrating S/4HANA with EWM, IBP, TM, PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill), MRO / Asset systems (Maximo, etc.), Technical publications systems (IPC / S1000D), and External suppliers and partner ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of Master data governance (Material, BOM, Equipment, Customer), Data synchronization strategies, and Integration security, performance, and monitoring.
  • Experience in designing scalable and resilient enterprise architecture frameworks.
  • Proven leadership in large-scale ($50M+) SAP S/4HANA transformation programs.
  • Experience leading multi-stream global delivery teams.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement at CxO and enterprise architecture levels.
  • Strong executive leadership and enterprise architecture mindset.
  • Proven ability to lead complex global transformation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Define the enterprise-wide SAP S/4HANA solution and integration strategy for A&D Aftermarket transformation.
  • Establish target architecture blueprint covering business processes, systems, and integration layers.
  • Drive alignment of IT architecture with business strategy and transformation objectives.
  • Lead end-to-end solution design across all S/4HANA functional domains.
  • Define business capability models, process flows across aftermarket, supply chain, and service operations, and system landscape and deployment architecture.
  • Ensure alignment between business requirements, SAP capabilities, and industry best practices.
  • Architect and govern integration across SAP and non-SAP ecosystems.
  • Define integration standards for APIs, Events, Batch data processing, and Real-time transactions.
  • Establish reusable integration frameworks and canonical data models.
  • Lead architecture governance across solution design reviews, integration design approvals, and technology standards adherence.
  • Drive fit-gap workshops, architecture boards, and risk mitigation and issue resolution.
  • Ensure >95% milestone adherence and delivery predictability.
  • Act as trusted advisor to CIO, CTO, and business leadership.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment across Engineering, Supply chain, Aftermarket, and Digital transformation teams.
  • Translate strategic business goals into scalable SAP-enabled solutions.
  • Drive enterprise outcomes including improved end-to-end process integration, reduced process cycle times, enhanced data consistency across systems, and improved service levels and customer fulfillment.
  • Define KPI frameworks for integration success rate, system latency, process cycle time improvement, and data consistency metrics.
  • Lead transformation from legacy landscapes to modern cloud-enabled SAP architectures.
  • Promote adoption of API-led integration, event-driven architecture, and intelligent enterprise frameworks.
  • Enable digital thread across engineering, supply chain, and aftermarket operations.
