About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an accomplished Program Director – Rehabilitation to lead rehabilitation services for a respected healthcare organization in Rutherfordton, North Carolina. This executive-level opportunity combines clinical leadership with program administration, giving you the ability to shape rehabilitation services, develop high-performing teams, and ensure patients receive coordinated, high-quality care throughout their recovery. As Program Director, you will provide strategic and operational direction across rehabilitation services while supporting clinical excellence, staff development, program performance, and efficient delivery of care. Offering a competitive salary of $103,000 – $105,000 annually, this role is ideal for an experienced rehabilitation leader ready to use their clinical background and administrative expertise to strengthen both patient outcomes and program success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a clinical discipline such as Nursing (RN), Physical Therapy (PT), Occupational Therapy (OT), Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), Social Work (SW), or Healthcare Management.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of rehabilitation leadership or administrative experience.
  • Current and valid professional clinical license, when applicable, as required by the State of North Carolina.
  • Strong understanding of rehabilitation operations, interdisciplinary care, and patient-centered service delivery.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to guide multidisciplinary teams while balancing clinical quality with operational priorities.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in a clinical discipline, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Extensive leadership experience within rehabilitation services.
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary rehabilitation teams and programs.
  • Background in program development, performance improvement, quality initiatives, or operational planning.
  • Experience mentoring clinical staff and supporting professional development across rehabilitation disciplines.
