About The Position

Connoisseur Media in Shreveport, LA, is searching for a Program Director & On-Air Personality for our PM Drive (3 PM to 7 PM) on 98 Rocks KTAL-FM. This is your opportunity to shape how the Shreveport-Bossier community connects through audio, digital, and video. We're looking for a creative leader who can develop compelling content, engage listeners on-air and online, and create memorable local experiences across every platform. The Program Director will need to have experience with multiple formats. The ideal candidate is a passionate storyteller, strong programmer, and dynamic on-air talent who thrives on building audience connections and growing brands. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of successful content leadership in a broadcast media environment.
  • Proficient in content management systems, social media strategy, audience engagement tactics, and video content creation (editing skills a plus!).
  • Deep understanding of the Country music radio format and audience, with the ability to craft multi-channel content strategies that capture attention and foster loyalty.
  • Strong writing and production skills, with the ability to craft compelling audio, digital, and video content that resonates across platforms.
  • Resourceful and creative, with a knack for turning challenges into opportunities that drive results.
  • Committed to developing future talent and empowering teams to achieve excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute multi-platform content strategies that drive audience engagement and revenue across broadcast, streaming, podcasts, social media, and video.
  • Utilize digital analytics and audience behavior trends to shape programming decisions, optimize content distribution, and maximize impact.
  • Coach and mentor future on-air personalities and content teams to enhance their storytelling, engagement, and brand presence across all digital touchpoints.
  • Expand the station's digital footprint by developing high-quality video content, social media-first storytelling, and interactive experiences tailored for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and beyond.
  • Foster partnerships within the industry and local community to extend station influence and create meaningful collaborations.
  • Collaborate with sales and promotions to create compelling branded content and sponsorship opportunities that provide value to both advertisers and audiences.
  • Uphold FCC regulations, legal standards, and Connoisseur Media’s company values.
