About The Position

NewYork-Presbyterian is seeking a Program Director for MarComm Strategic Initiatives & Optimization. This role acts as an internal consulting partner to senior leadership, focusing on framing business challenges, defining priorities, leading strategic initiatives, and translating opportunities into actionable plans to advance MarComm priorities. The position aims to strengthen governance, prioritization, investment alignment, and operational discipline. Key responsibilities include modernizing MarComm capabilities in areas such as YouTube, patient education video, AI-informed content discoverability, and internal podcast and video production. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking and execution, bringing structure to ambiguous workstreams, developing executive recommendations, and partnering across various marketing and operational teams to drive initiatives from strategy through execution with measurable results. The Program Director will optimize investments and resource allocation through governance, prioritization frameworks, performance reporting, and ROI-driven decision-making. This includes overseeing the strategy, development, and project management for an internal creative production studio and optimizing patient education video strategy by establishing searchability best practices and scaling content across YouTube and digital channels. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong background in investment optimization, analytics, and performance measurement.
  • Proven ability to lead through influence in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong executive presence, deck development, and storytelling capabilities.

Nice To Haves

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, preferably in management consulting
  • Experience driving digital transformation, operational modernization, and evolving customer experience strategies.
  • Experience building governance, prioritization, or operating models that improve decision-making, accountability, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies, including AI, automation, and digital platforms, and their application to business workflows.
  • Healthcare, academic medical center, or highly regulated industry experience preferred.
