About The Position

Unity House of Troy is seeking an experienced and motivated professional to join our team as a Domestic and Sexual Violence Housing Program Supervisor. This is an exciting leadership opportunity to oversee a large, non-residential housing program serving survivors of domestic violence, while guiding a dedicated team and ensuring high-quality, trauma-informed services. The Program Supervisor is responsible for the daily operations, staff supervision, and financial oversight of the Domestic Violence Housing Program. This role ensures effective service delivery, compliance with grant requirements, and a supportive, empowering environment for survivors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or related field and/or minimum of 3+ years of relevant Human Services experience
  • Valid New York State Driver’s License and reliable transportation required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with survivors of domestic violence or similar populations preferred
  • Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Experience with grant-funded programs and reporting a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily program operations and financial management
  • Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to staff
  • Assist with and guide case management services
  • Ensure delivery of trauma-informed, survivor-centered care
  • Manage and oversee multiple grant-funded programs
  • Maintain accurate data collection, reporting, and compliance
  • Support program development and continuous quality improvement
  • Collaborate with internal teams and community partners
  • Promote a culture of inclusion, respect, and belonging
  • Assist with additional support services as needed
