About The Position

Tobin School Westwood is seeking an Early Childhood Program Director. The Tobin School Westwood was founded in 1995, providing care for 60 children per day. We are a small program with 3 classrooms: School Day Pre Kindergarten (20 children, 3 teachers), Full Day Pre Kindergarten (20 children and 3 full-time teachers), and Full Day Junior Kindergarten (18 children and 3 full-time teachers). We are open year-round, Monday - Friday, 7:15 am - 5:45 pm, and all children attend 5 days/week. We are licensed by the state of Massachusetts and are proudly accredited by NAEYC. We will be looking for a new Program Director to begin in the summer of 2026. Our school is a professional and friendly organization that employs a strong team teaching approach. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Masters in Education preferred)
Director 1 EEC Certified
Highly proficient with all Microsoft Office applications
Familiar with or ability to learn Constant Contact
At least three years experience as a Director at a licensed and accredited program
Extremely detailed and accuracy-oriented
Exceptional work ethic
Ability to create a warm, welcoming and positive culture
Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work well with others, collaborate and remain calm under pressure
Team-oriented player with a positive attitude and ability to work independently
Flexibility and willingness to assist teachers when needed
Comfortable receiving direction and providing others with direction
Warm, engaging personality with a focus on quality care for children
Self-motivated
