About The Position

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Program Director to join our team! In this role you will get to manage a $1B+ design build industrial energetics plant project for a Government client. What You'll Be Doing: Manage a massive design build program Interface with government clients, subcontractors, regulatory agencies at federal, state, county levels. Manage the interface and deliverables for the energetics facilities and development. Plans, directs, supervises, and controls the execution of all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned project. Oversees and updates the implementation of Project Execution Plans, Health and Safety Plan, Quality Assurance/Quality Control Plan, and other documents as required. Manages contract deliverables. Assigns responsibility for executing project plans to key subordinates. Manages Scope, tracks changes, and negotiates changes client and key subcontractors (in conjunction with the applicable contracts groups). Supports growth and business development opportunities. Provides input and development plans for subordinates. Mobilizes company resources to support a project teams capable of completing effective, quality work. Manages and controls the budgets, and assures accurate financial reporting. Familiar with change management, developing and negotiating for additional cost and/or time impacts when scope deviations arise. Accurately maintains change order logs and tracks risks that could affect project goals. Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activity within the program, including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. Manage subcontracts performing the field execution. Runs routine project reviews and formulates action items. Develops succession plan for key project roles. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Requirements

  • Able to manage a major complex Firm Fixed Price design build industrial energetics construction program.
  • Advanced leadership skills with ability to perform in a management capacity.
  • Excellent written and oral communications skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction practices and regulations.
  • Must be a US Citizen and able to clear requirements for access to the site.
  • At least 20 years experience with FFP contracts of similar scale and complexity is ideal.
  • Able to manage to expedited schedules with recent track record as such.
