William James College is seeking a leader to help build, innovate, and strengthen the future of clinical psychology education while expanding its impact in New England. The Program Director for the Rhode Island-based Clinical PsyD degree will work closely with academic and administrative leadership to provide academic and clinical leadership in preparation for an anticipated launch in Fall 2027. The Director will be responsible for developing curriculum, ensuring alignment with accrediting bodies, recruiting faculty, developing field placements, and implementing program strategy. This role also includes leading pre-launch program development activities. The Director will serve as the senior on-site leader for William James College at the Rhode Island campus, providing academic and operational oversight in coordination with institutional leadership, and will maintain ongoing teaching responsibilities. The role requires experience in academic program administration, people management, and clinical leadership, with a focus on developing RI area partners for training and clinical service and creating pipelines to support the growth of the behavioral health workforce. The Director will have primary responsibility for advancing William James College’s Rhode Island-based initiatives to further the College’s mission in New England.
