About The Position

We are looking for a Program Delivery Lead who is strategic, collaborative, and patient-focused to join our Global Clinical Sciences & Operations (GCSO) team. This position can be based at one of our UCB sites in Anderlecht (Belgium), Raleigh, NC (USA), Monheim am Rhein (Germany), or Slough (UK). About the role As a Senior Program Delivery Lead, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for complex global clinical development programs across all stages of development. You will drive the delivery of high-quality, patient-centric clinical studies, ensuring programs are executed efficiently, compliantly, and within budget and timelines. You will play a key role in shaping development strategies, managing stakeholders, and mentoring colleagues while contributing to innovative approaches that accelerate clinical development. Who you will work with You will collaborate closely with cross-functional experts across Clinical Development and CRO partners. You will also engage with investigators, external partners, patient advocacy groups, vendors, and Key Opinion Leaders to help deliver successful clinical development programs worldwide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred, or equivalent experience in clinical development.
  • Extensive experience leading global clinical programs and complex clinical operations activities, including in cell and Gene Therapy would be ideal.
  • Strong knowledge of clinical development, ICH-GCP, regulations, and quality standards.
  • Demonstrated expertise in budget management, forecasting, feasibility, and risk management.
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams in matrix organizations.
  • Excellent communication, coaching, presentation, and problem-solving skills in an international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead operational strategy and execution for global clinical development programs from Phase I through Phase IV.
  • Develop and deliver program timelines, budgets, forecasts, and key milestones.
  • Drive feasibility assessments, site strategies, and recruitment plans to support successful study delivery.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships and ensure alignment across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Champion patient-centricity, DE&I initiatives, and innovative approaches in clinical development.
