Requirements
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED.
- Some college preferred.
- Experience providing activities or another type of group treatment preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in planning, organizing, and giving direct care to residents in the Activity Program and Social Treatment Program (STP) by current existing federal, state, and local standards, as well as our established policies and procedures.
- Ensuring that residents are given ample and regular opportunities to learn and practice skills for improving functioning, independence, awareness, self-care, and self-esteem.
- Ensuring that residents' spiritual, emotional, recreational, and psychosocial needs are met/maintained individually.
