About The Position

The Naval Shipboard Portfolio has an immediate opening for a Financial Program Controls Analyst on the Naval Standard Missile Systems (NSMS) program within the SM-6 Production team. This position provides a tremendous growth opportunity for an ambitious individual to partner with the program leadership team, which includes Program Managers, technical leads, and functional support. In addition, you will provide the opportunity to increase exposure to multiple facets of finance and the overall organization. This role is being offered in a onsite capacity and based on the needs of the business, with ability to work remotely on a case by case basis. Preferred candidates will be onsite in Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is being offered.

Requirements

  • Typically requires A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience is required.
  • Experience interfacing and conducting business with various functional disciplines (Contracts, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) in program development and execution.
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Provide thorough cost and schedule analysis.
  • Coordinate the development of quarterly Estimate-at-Completion (EAC).
  • Provide financial guidance and solutions to Program Team and Leads.
  • Prepare finance charts for Program Management Reviews, monthly operating reviews, financial overviews and other reporting activities as required.
  • Provide cost, schedule, financial analysis/reporting, funding planning, maintenance utilizing standard company tools and processes.
  • Implementation and Maintenance of Earned Value Management.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of Contract Data Requirement Lists (CDRLs).
  • Establish and maintain program logs (Work Authorization, Contract Mod Log, R&Os).
