This specific position is part of the Operations Finance team within the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) division, supporting the PATRIOT GEM-T Integrated Product Team. The PATRIOT program involves a wide range of contract types, customers, and deliverables. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting quarterly Estimate at Completes (EACs), monthly Earned Value Analysis, and monthly Budget Change Requests. The role requires the ability to perform meaningful financial analysis, assist in financial recommendations, and communicate effectively while partnering with management.

Requirements

  • A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Tool Suite, particularly with Excel
  • Experience in a relevant finance field

Nice To Haves

  • Earn Value Management System (EVMS) Certified
  • Experienced user of SAP (APEX and/or Prism), RTN PMX, or similar system
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude, willing to take on challenges
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Operations finance or factory/manufacturing finance experience
  • Ability to analyze and interpret financial information in support of business portfolio
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial analysis for both total program and product level cost elements to help define, understand, and explain monthly and quarterly variances from budget and EAC positions
  • Maintain accurate records for Budget and EAC tracking to ensure adequate funding is available using Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS)
  • Process approved Budget Change Requests (BCR) and ensures all changes are incorporated into control systems
  • Partner with Patriot Product Line teams, LADS Program Management Offices, Supply Chain, and other cross business teams
