About The Position

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Program Cost Schedule Control Analyst level 2 to join their team. This position will support the Sentinel (GBSD) Program in the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division, focusing on the Air Force’s sustainment, development, production, and deployment of hardware and system modifications for Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) Ground and Airborne Launch Control Systems, Launch Facilities, and associated infrastructure. The role is in a fast-paced, high-energy environment requiring a self-motivated employee with strong financial systems skills, understanding of EVMS principles, and hands-on cost performance reporting/analysis abilities. The candidate will develop and implement solutions, analyze variances and trends, develop new methods and process techniques, work under general supervision, and represent the group on special projects.

Requirements

Requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Business, Finance, Accounting, Cost Accounting, Aerospace and Defense, or related professional experience; a Master's degree with 1 year; or 6 years with a HS Diploma (or equivalent) may be accepted in lieu of degree.
Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.
Requires experience with MS Office Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Power BI.
Requires experience with an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) tool, Business Intelligence and Analytics tool, Project Management and Planning tool and/or Collaboration and Integration tools.

Responsibilities

Interface with program managers, functional management, and cost account managers (CAMs) to provide financial and administrative support and analysis to meet program requirements.
Apply Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts to multiple contracts for control accounts within an engineering Integrated Product Team (IPT).
Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) tasks including: establishment of Work Breakdown Structure for execution of budgeted cost of work scheduled, assessment and maintenance of objective performance criteria, maintenance and justifications of estimates to complete, and support to internal and external reporting requirements for variance analysis.
Perform funding analysis, cost risk analysis/assessment, and visibility reporting.
Prepare or review government cost performance reports, performance measurement variance analysis, and estimates to complete.
Support the development of budget baselines and maintain cost/schedule integration.
Support preparation of budgets, schedules, and ETC/EAC.
Perform and/or assist in financial performance analyses and visibility.
Setup, monitor, and control program costs and schedules.
Perform analyses and prepare reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters.
Prepare budgets and schedules for contract work.
Incorporate contract changes into control systems.
Estimate and completion and forecast related activities.
Perform miscellaneous financial analysis as required.
