About The Position

The Bethlehem YMCA is seeking a dynamic individual for the full time position of Program Coordinator. This position supports the work of the Y, a leading charity committed to strengthening community. The Program Coordinator facilitates youth and sports programs, overseeing birthday parties, facility rentals, and supports child watch staff.

Requirements

• High School/GED
• Prior experience coordinating programs
• Prior experience working with youth, teens and adults
• Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications (completed within 30 days of hire)
• New Employee Orientation, Sexual Harassment, ALICE (Active Shooter), and Blood-borne Pathogens trainings (completed within 90 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

• BA/BS in Physical Ed., Recreation, or Sports Mgt.
• Basic knowledge of computers with proficiency in using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel and Publisher)
