About The Position

Responsible for the delivery and implementation of behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility. This role involves direct patient care, including coordinating activities, providing companionship, and assisting with basic daily needs such as dressing, bathing, and eating. The Program Coordinator collaborates with treatment team members to support patient treatment and care goals, and may co-lead groups. They monitor patients' daily well-being, identify needs for social intervention, and ensure all program documentation, including care, treatment, and incidents, is completed accurately and in a timely manner. A positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers is essential, with a focus on resolving complaints and prioritizing patient safety.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field required.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

Nice To Haves

  • One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred.
  • Certification in specialty of program preferred.
  • First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.
  • When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
  • Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
  • Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
