About The Position

The Program Coordinator (PC) will oversee the daily operations of an adult residential home supporting individuals with Autism and developmental disabilities. This leadership role is ideal for someone experienced, organized, and ready to take full ownership of program operations, guiding staff, coordinating care, and ensuring a safe, structured, and positive home environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license with 1+ year of licensed driving experience required.
  • MAP certification required.
  • 2+ years prior experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and implementing crisis intervention/physical management experience required.
  • Prior supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication, organization, and decision-making skills, and ability to lead a team, prioritize needs, and problem-solve in real time.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations, assigning tasks and guiding staff to ensure smooth site functioning.
  • Provide direct care and support when needed, modeling best practices for the team.
  • Manage all MAP-related responsibilities, documentation, safety procedures, and site compliance.
  • Coordinate shopping, meal planning, recreation activities, and household needs.
  • Maintain communication with upper management, nursing, and clinical teams.
  • Serve as primary on-call support except on the APC’s assigned days.
