This position is evenly split between the Evaluation & Continuous Improvement program and the Communications program of the Georgia Clinical & Translational Science Alliance (Georgia CTSA). The Georgia CTSA begins its nineteenth year thanks to a five year $74M continuing grant from the NIH to improve human health by transforming the research and training environment to enhance the efficiency and quality of clinical and translational research. To ensure Georgia CTSA’s emphasis on improving treatments reaches the communities and populations at highest risk for poor health outcomes, Georgia CTSA has established its central theme aimed at addressing health impact statewide. The Georgia CTSA is one of 65 medical research institutions located throughout the nation. The Program Coordinator duties are organizing, coordinating, and planning operational facets of a program and its related activities which include, but are not limited to the following: establishing long-term operational objectives, researching factors that may impact the success of the program, and working with individuals or groups to research and document program requirements in order to provide appropriate input into the development of strategic plans.
