Much of the organization’s early growth can be attributed to assisting state agencies with deinstitutionalization efforts, and in more recent years, Sunrise has welcomed smaller companies in need of assistance or support into the Sunrise Group. As a result, over the last 60 years Sunrise has increased the number of persons served from 50 people in just South Florida to over 1,400 across several states with over 2,500 exceptional employees.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug Screenings
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver status.
  • Must possess advanced computer skills
  • Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum one year of experience in writing program plans, case notes or other relevant documentation required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in the field of intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development, implementation and coordination of individual’s program plans
  • Develop, implement and monitor individualized training programs to meet identified priority training needs
  • Ensures all plans are person centered and reflect the individual’s hopes and dreams through active participation wherever possible
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate and complete according to regulatory requirements
  • Communicate with all team members, including family, guardians and support coordinators to ensure that the individual’s needs are being addressed
  • Performs other duties as assigned
