About The Position

The Program Coordinator will work under direct supervision of the Chief Executive Officer to deliver programming, maintain program records, and deliver program reports to respective agencies. This is a part time position, with opportunity for future fulltime employment. The Program Coordinator will be expected to work the after-school program, summer program, special events, and planning.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED.
Experience in working with children, knowledge of youth development, ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems, ability to deal with general public, ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth, ability to organize and supervise members in a safe environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication.
Mandatory CPR and First Aid Certifications and a valid state Driver’s License.

Nice To Haves

Associates or Bachelor’s Degree.
Supervisory experience.
Commercial Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

Maintain emotionally and physically safe space for youth club members.
Plan, create, and deliver curriculum for youth programs.
Recruit, register, and onboard new youth club members.
Serve as a positive role model and mentor to youth.
Maintain and update club member information.
Communicate updates, progress, and concerns with local partners, granting agencies, and community members.
Collect, input, and organize program records to prepare for program reports.
Submit timely and accurate program reports to granting agencies.
Participate in staff meetings and special events.
Transport club members using Club vehicle.
Supervise youth development staff.
