Requirements

  • Be willing and able to work at all ERC Pathlight local sites as assigned.
  • Be compliant with certification and regulatory requirements for each practice location.
  • Maintain a flexible schedule to meet organizational staffing needs.
  • High School Diploma or GED (required for PC I, PC II, PC III).
  • Valid driver’s license with safe driving record: required only at locations operating company vehicles or requiring driving on behalf of the company (required for PC I, PC II, PC III).
  • Washington teammates must hold a state credential (may be pending at time of hire) (required for PC I, PC II, PC III).
  • ServSafe certification may be required depending on state and local licensing regulations (required for PC I, PC II, PC III).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of direct patient care experience (required for PC II).
  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field (required for PC III).
  • Minimum of six (6) months of experience in a behavioral health or related field (required for PC III).
  • Teammates working in a Colorado Residential Child Care facility (RCCF) must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age or at least eighteen (18) years of age and work directly under the supervision of a teammate over twenty-one (21) years of age (required for Colorado).

Nice To Haves

  • Mental Health/Psych Tech or CNA certification (preferred for PC I).

Responsibilities

  • Directly care for inpatient, residential, and partial hospitalization patients by providing patient supervision and support.
  • Provide structure and boundaries for patients.
  • Provide bathroom and milieu support.
  • Contribute to the implementation of therapeutic programming, which may include care delivery and program documentation.
  • Provide mealtime support, supporting patients with their dietary needs, and supervising patients at meals and snacks.
  • Maintain daily program structure by following program schedule.
  • Complete observation rounds and safety checks as ordered by physician.
  • Work with patients on de-escalation and implementing coping skills per treatment plan.
  • Conduct room searches and luggage searches.
  • Take patients out on fresh air breaks and mindful movement exposures.
  • Provide ongoing bathroom monitoring.
  • Take patient vital signs, weights, urine Specific Gravity (may vary by location and program).
  • Participate in group facilitation.
  • Be compliant with documentation in EHR for group facilitation.
  • Support group outings.
  • Participate in all meals and snacks with patients as needed per facility.
  • Provide meal support through coaching and skills per treatment team at eating disorder treatment locations (when not assigned to an eating disorder treatment location, performs other duties as assigned based on program and operational needs).
  • Provide administrative support as needed around mealtimes.
  • Ensure adherence to allergy-safety system.
  • Complete all appropriate documentation as needed in compliance with standards (some indicated above) including but not limited to patient observations, meals, and events that occur during shift.
  • Provide patient transportation as needed for medical appointments (may vary by location and program).
  • Support additional transportation needs, including but not limited to outings, grocery shopping, or other facility needs.
  • May provide support for additional food procurement as needed once per week.
  • Distribute mail and packages daily.
