About The Position

Coordinates the activities and functions of designated programs. Analyzes, evaluates and ensures that the goals and objectives for the program are accomplished according to established priorities, time and funding limitations or other specifications. The Program Coordinator for Social Emotional Learning serves as a trusted liaison between the Tucson Unified School District, the community, health, and social service systems. This position will supervise, manage, and implement the strategic program plans for the district Community Health Worker model. The Program Coordinator is responsible for collaborating with internal and external partners to increase community awareness, self-sufficiency, and access to services and other resources among diverse populations.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree AND Four years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree AND Two years of experience administering or coordinating programs.
  • Six years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs.
  • One year of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs.
  • Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program.
  • Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions.
  • FBI fingerprint background check
  • Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.

  • Master’s Degree.
