About The Position

The program coordinator is responsible for supporting the planning and implementation of daily academic enrichment activities for all 21st CCLC sites. This responsibility is in addition to serving as a site coordinator and running their own program.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree or relevant experience preferred.
  • Multilingual preferred.
  • Must possess excellent written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess the ability to evaluate, motivate, and support a team atmosphere and to provide constructive feedback to 21st CCLC staff.
  • Demonstrated ability to build effective professional relationships with all levels of the organization as well as with the broader community.
  • Ability to perform a wide variety of duties and responsibilities with accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently, give and take direction, and be productive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent computer skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Publisher, Google Drive, Gmail, and web-based data collection systems.
  • Experience in staff training and mentoring.
  • Ability to speak in public and with the media.

Responsibilities

  • Perform all of the responsibilities of a 21st CCLC Site Coordinator.
  • In collaboration with the program director, provide leadership in the creation, evaluation and improvement of the academic enrichment programming while maintaining compliance with the goals and objectives of the 21st CCLC grants.
  • Ensure overall program quality by providing training, coaching and feedback to 21st CCLC program staff regarding the development, scheduling and implementation of new curriculum class offerings and enrichment activities.
  • Develop and implement training and orientation for volunteers and outside groups assisting in the program.
  • Research and develop new partnerships with external program providers/agencies to expand program offerings.
  • Assist the program director in coordinating and facilitating meetings as necessary and appropriate.
  • Review and prepare employee stipends for processing.
  • Assist the program director in identifying and cultivating new opportunities to diversify funding streams, including grants and donations.
  • Provide additional administrative support to the program director as required.
  • Attend training, workshops, and annual conference(s) as mandated by the NHDOE.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned by the program director.
  • Oversight and supervision of program staff and volunteers, including stipend positions and part-time hourly workers.
