The Lang Medical Scholars Program at Katz School of Medicine at Temple University is a six-year educational initiative that transforms a student’s early interest in science into a vision for a career in healthcare. Through hands-on learning and collaboration with healthcare professionals, students from 7th through 12th grade explore each system of the human body, learning how healthy systems function, how disease develops, and how prevention and treatment shape individual, public and global health. Along the way, they gain early exposure to health careers and discover the many ways they can contribute to healthier selves and healthier communities. The Program Coordinator ensures the Lang Medical Scholars Program runs smoothly by managing attendance, documentation, and operational systems that keep students, families, and staff details organized and communications with all parties timely. Working closely with the Program Director, this role provides essential coordination across program activities and logistics. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized college student or early-career professional interested in education, healthcare, or program management.
