About The Position

Responsible for the delivery and implementation of behavioral health or recovery programs within a facility. This role involves direct patient care, including coordinating activities, providing companionship, and assisting with basic daily needs. The Program Coordinator collaborates with treatment teams, monitors patient well-being, and ensures accurate documentation. A positive and empathetic attitude is essential, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work or related field REQUIRED.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).

Nice To Haves

• One or more years previous experience in behavioral health with population of the facility preferred.
• Certification in specialty of program preferred.
• First aid may be required based on state or facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to include coordinating activities, providing companionship and assisting with basic daily needs (dressing, bathing, eating).
• Collaborate with treatment team members to assist with patient treatment and/or care goals.
• May serve as a co-lead for groups.
• Monitor the daily well-being of patients and identify need for social intervention.
• Ensure all documentation regarding the program, such as care, treatment or incidents, is completed in a clear, concise, professional and completed in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards customers always.
• When patient needs are not met, acknowledge and work to resolve complaints.
• Recognize that patient safety is a top priority.
• Perform other functions and tasks as assigned.
