The Jackson County Circuit Court in Medford, Oregon, is hiring a Behavioral Health/Aid & Assist Program Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the behavioral health program. You will help plan and implement the Behavioral Health/Aid & Assist Court docket, coordinate and lead case management meetings and program team meetings. You will keep abreast of national standards and best practices for behavioral health courts, offer suggestions for improvement, and help implement changes. You will also track deadlines and ensure cases comply with all applicable deadlines, laws, rules, and policies. Collaboration is a key part of this position, requiring liaison with judges, court management, OJD employees statewide, the Oregon Health Authority, local behavioral health providers, community partners, the District Attorney’s office, public defenders, probation officers, governmental agencies, and other interested parties. You will coordinate training for external stakeholders and join local and statewide internal and external committees to further the program’s mission and goals. Additionally, you will provide administrative support, including preparing meeting minutes, collecting information about program participants, conducting research, preparing various statistical and other reports, and gathering background information about potential program participants. You will also answer questions from program participants about the program and spend part of your time providing coverage in court for the Treatment Court Coordinators as needed. Assigned tasks may be changed to accommodate workload and organizational needs.
