About The Position

The School of Pharmacy Boston Biopharmaceutical Industry Fellowship Program seeks a Program Coordinator to manage the program’s day-to-day operations. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for fellow onboarding, marketing of the program, and various event coordination efforts throughout the year.

Requirements

  • Minimum of associate’s degree
  • Minimum of four (4) years of applicable work experience.
  • Previous customer service and administrative experience.
  • Strong technical/computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to ensure accuracy of work.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage confidential materials and maintain confidentiality when working on specific tasks or projects.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative and strong team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in creating external facing marketing materials through social media and related platforms very desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the Program Director and Manager as necessary to ensure the smooth operation of the Fellowship Program.
  • Implements, updates and enhances internal processes that support the program; specifically related to expense reports in collaboration with the Business Office.
  • Coordinates the onboarding process for new industry fellows and ensures paperwork is completed in a timely manner in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Develops orientation materials for fellows; schedules and assists with orientation sessions.
  • Assists Program Manager and industry fellows with New Innovations: update, maintain and manage New Innovations, this includes but is not limited to new account creation, set up and follow up for onboarding documents, ensuring compliance, bi-annual core competency evaluations, and regular maintenance throughout the year.
  • Updates and ensures accuracy of fellowship offerings on the MCPHS website, as well as national professional organization websites (ASHP, IPhO, etc.).
  • Arranges and coordinates rooms, catering, and other vendor provisions for program meetings, events and ceremonies.
  • Prepares communication materials and social media content to provide information to students nationally about MCPHS fellowship opportunities in collaboration with the fellows.
  • Provides operational support to Program Director and Manager, including coordination of catalog updates, and coordination of program revisions
  • Participates in department meetings, takes minutes and follows up on outstanding items.
  • Develops and implements processes to track and monitor budgetary expenses for Program Director.
  • Works collaboratively with fellows, preceptors, and faculty.
