About The Position

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Work with Internal and Client representatives to create/confirm filing system/organization and manage project files. Project and job creation in SAP, for all budgets within various tools/platforms maintained by SDG&E. Maintain high level of detail orientation while balancing workload prioritization Coordinate with designers, update project deliverable dates, and process FCO/DCOs as needed. Create and update programmatic SOPs ensuring documentation is up to date Document meeting discussions with detailed meeting minutes Data Entry and Validation Receive, log, and track documentation, drawings and project files, including change logs and revision histories to meet internal and client requirements. Respond to internal and external document requests. Work with clients and internal personnel to determine and enforce document control requirements to ensure the company meets internal and external document control policies. Evaluate and develop improved techniques for the control of documents. Recommend improvements to both existing document control processes and the development of new processes, including, but not limited to, managing concurrent engineering release levels and version control. Requires ongoing coordination, communication and/or team problem solving between departments or functional areas for work production or service quality. No supervision is required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE High School Diploma required, Associate’s Degree preferred. 2-3 years of prior document management experience in an engineering or oil & gas setting. SKILLS & ABILITIES Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them, considering the impact on the rest of the company Ability to respond in a flexible manner and to reprioritize work as the situation demands. Must posses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Excellent organizational skills and time management skills are necessary. Requirements

  • High School Diploma required
  • 2-3 years of prior document management experience in an engineering or oil & gas setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and work creatively in a team environment to resolve them, considering the impact on the rest of the company
