About The Position

Irvine Ranch Conservancy (IRC) has an opening for a full-time Volunteer Program Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a variety of people and wants to contribute to meaningful outcomes. The Volunteer Program Coordinator supports IRC's programs by soliciting and organizing public activity information, verifying scheduling, and entering or verifying activities on IRC's activities website, LetsGoOutside (LGO). The Coordinator works with volunteers, staff, and external partners to resolve any issues related to public activities or LGO. The Coordinator will also participate in volunteer interpretive activity development, volunteer-specific social media, and volunteer recognition and other events.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in social sciences, communications, or similar field of study
At least two (2) years of related work experience
Demonstrated successful experience working and communicating with diverse groups
Experience with data collection, organization, and management
Experience working as a team implementing a variety of volunteer events
Communication proficiency, both verbal and written
Experience with Microsoft Office 365, particularly working in the SharePoint environment and working with CRMs

Nice To Haves

Basic (not developer) WordPress or other website platform experience
