We are currently seeking a Program Coordinator to join our Children, Youth, and Family Services department. The Program Coordinator will support the daily operations of the Visiting and Family Assistance Program located at the Rose M. Singer Correctional Facility. The Coordinator will support positive outcomes for individuals housed in the facility by providing access to visiting, personal development and community resources. The Coordinator will also ensure that all programmatic objectives are being met and serve as the primary point of contact for DOC leadership, participants and their families. This position requires reporting to a Department of Correction (DOC) facility at least two (2) days per week, with additional on-site attendance as needed based on operational and programmatic needs. This position is expected to end on June 30, 2027, with the possibility of an extension. This position requires clearance by the New York City Department of Correction. Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain Department of Correction (DOC) clearance to work on Rikers Island and/or other applicable facilities operated by the Department of Correction.
