About The Position

Serve as a Program Coordinator - Registered Nurse and provide comprehensive clinical, regulatory, and program coordination support for human subject's research conducted under the direction of the Principal Investigator (PI) and Program Manager. This position will participate in the day-to-day operations in clinical research and perform job duties under general supervision. They will perform a variety of research assessments and serve as a liaison for the study across stakeholders. They will have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of research best practices and regulations, and they will have the ability to apply these concepts in order to determine action plans.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required
  • Three years of related nursing experience in specialty area
  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or a compact state
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required
  • Ability to be qualified physically for respirator use, initially and as required
  • Maintain 20/40 vision corrected, see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance
  • Work in a latex safe environment and work indoors
  • Frequently lift, lower, push and pull and/or carry objects weighing 50 lbs (+/-) unassisted
  • Exert up to 50 lbs of force
  • Lift from 36” to overhead 25 lbs

Nice To Haves

  • Certification as a generalist in a related specialty area by the American Nurses Association (ANA)
