About The Position

The Project Coordinator (PC) supports the Program Director/Program Manager by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing, and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the Public Health Sciences Institute ( PHSI ) Programs. These programs include the Lewis Scholars Imhotep ( LSI ) Project, Innovation - Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics (iSTEM), and other programs that support the Institute. Coordinating and monitoring activities and providing information, recommendations and/or direction as requested by team lead.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting academic, public health, or student success programs, particularly with diverse or underrepresented student populations.
  • Coursework, training, or demonstrated exposure to public health, health sciences, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with data tracking, reporting, and program evaluation tools (e.g., Excel, survey platforms, or database systems).
  • Experience with program coordination, event planning, and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Experience with digital communications, outreach, or program promotion is a plus.

Responsibilities
