About The Position

The inventory Valuation & Processes Department is looking to bring on a team member to handle the day-to-day responsibilities as well as be responsible for innovating the current processes. We are looking for an individual who is a self-starter that is proficient at utilizing business intelligence software, willing to collaborate, and able to multitask.

Requirements

2+ years of experience in finance, business operations, or a similar role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
Experience documenting and improving business processes.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Detail-oriented and highly organized.
Strong work ethic and ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

Create and implement inventory accounting controls
Maintain accurate reports and documentation related to inventory valuation.
Develop, implement, and maintain consistent inventory valuation related processes and procedures.
Analyze and reconcile inventory discrepancies, investigating and resolving any inconsistencies.
Contribute to maintaining positive relationships with internal stakeholders.
Perform regular valuations of inventory using various costing methods (FIFO, LIFO, Average Cost).
